Online Poker

Hi, I just started an online poker account (on UB.com). I put $10 in the account, and I am going to turn that ten dollars it in to a $100. My first day of playing online poker, was good I made a dollar. The very next day I didn’t do so well, I lost 2 dollars. I realize that I have to be more careful I cant get to risky, because when you play risky you usually get big rewards, but you also lose big too. Risky playing is gambling so play smart and with more strategy, and you will be more likely to win. I will keep you posted on my goal to make 10 dollars in to 100 dollars. Poker Tips

Poker takes a lot of strategy and skill; you have to know what you are doing. I recommend playing free online games (I personally like fulltilt.com) if you are a new player or want to try out a new strategy. If you really want to get good when you’re playing those free online games, play like you would if it was real money. The reason why is that when you play free online games, you don’t act the same as you would in a real game, so basically you don’t improve any. I also have some tip that would have helped me; when I started out. In your first real money game, try to play as long as you can, the reason why, I want you to do so,  is  that you can watch other players mistakes and, the thing that they do right. Plus if you play with these same players, a lot it will help you read them better; for next game. Now I don’t mean just check the whole time, you should be looking for what is a really good hand and what a bad hand is. You should also check for things before the flop, like if someone raises before the flop, they usually have Pairs or high cards suited, thus check your hand making sure you have something good or better. Also watch how they play after the flop one thing to watch for is their eyes; to see if the right card comes up. If the other player look at their hand and the community cards a lot, he might be making sure they have something; like a straight or a flush. In addition watch how person plays with their chips, if they throw them in the middle of the pot. That is more than likely the player might be bluffing. As they are trying to scare you off; the player is acting as if they don’t care; well they do care. If your opponent player keeps the pile closer to them, and still stacked He or she might have something good. Their thoughts are that I’m going to win this. Thus he wants to take the pile back the same way, he or she had it.

How to Play Poker

Im just going to state the rules and what beats what for new players
Everyone is dealt two card this is what's going to give you the advantage over the other player
Then the Flop, three card that are the community cards every one can use these cards.
Then the Turn, one card that is flipped and this is still a community card.  
and the last card is the River, this is the last card flipped and the last community card.
also right before you flip over any card you burn the top card thats were you take the top card off the deck and over to the side but do not look at it.
What Beats What
the Royal Flush is the highest thing you can get it is Ace, King, Queen, Jack, Ten, all in the same suit.
the Straight Flush is the same thing its just not the highest so like 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 all in the same suit.
Four of a kind it just like it sounds four cards with the same rank like 5 hearts, 5 diamonds, 5 spades, 5 clubs.
Full house is a three of a kind and a pair it looks like this, king dimonds, king hearts, king spades, 3 hearts, 3 spades.
Flush is five cards of the same suit like five hearts.
Straight Five cards of mixed suits in sequence 2 3 4 5 6
Three of a kind three card of the same rank. 5 hearts, 5 diamonds, 5 spades
Two pairs it just two card that are equally rank and it to be two different pairs
pairs is two cars of the same value
High card its just the Highest card like ace, king, and queen.
